
Chilli Honey Sugo & Pepperoni Focaccia

Combining our delicious Chilli Honey Sugo and freshly baked focaccia is a match made in heaven and a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
Ingredients
Focaccia:
- 450ml warm water
- 8g dry active yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 550g 00 flour
Toppings:
- chilli honey sugo
- pepperoni
- mozzarella, shredded & fresh
- jalapenos (optional)
- fresh basil
- honey to drizzle
Instructions
- mix warm water, yeast, sugar, and salt into a bowl. Let sit for 5-10 mins until foamy.
- in a large bowl, add flour, then pout in yeast mixture and olive oil. stir until sticky dough forms.
- drizzle a bit more olive oil over the dough. cover with cling wrap and a tea towel. allow to rise somewhere warm for 1-2 hours, until doubled in size.
- once risen, transfer dough to well-oiled tray and gently press out to the edges of the tray with your fingertips.
- cover again and let rise for another 30-60 minutes.
- preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- top with chilli honey sugo, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, and jalapenos. bake for 30-35 mins or until golden and puffed.
- with 5 minutes left, scatter bits of torn fresh mozzarella over the focaccia and pop back into oven to melt.
- finish with fresh basil and a drizzle of honey.
