ITALIAN SAUSAGES WITH CHILLI KETCHUP

ingredients

  • 500g (or 6) italian pork & fennel sausages

  • 1 red onion, sliced

  • 1 tsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 6 slices provolone dolce 

  • 6 bread rolls 

  • Bippi Italian Style Ketchup to serve

METHOD

  1. Heat either a fry pan, grill plate or bbq and cook the sausages until cooked through and lightly charred.  Meanwhile add the red onion to a small frypan over medium heat and add the olive oil, brown sugar, balsamic, and a pinch of salt. Fry gently until softened. 

  2. When the sausages are just about done, top each sausage with the provolone until melted. Alternatively you can add these to the bread rolls after

  3. Add the sausages to the bread rolls, top with a generous amount of Bippi Italian Style Ketchup, and finish with the balsamic red onions
