Honey, Soy & Chilli Chicken ribs

ingredients

1kg chicken ribs

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp corn flour

1 tbsp olive oil

3 tsp Bippi Mild Chilli Oil

2 tbsp tamari

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp maple syrup

2 tsp Bippi Sriracha Sauce

3 garlic cloves

1 bunch fresh coriander

1 tsp sesame seeds

Methods

  1. Start by preheating the oven to 180C. combine and mix well your chicken ribs with the garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, cumin and salt in a large mixing bowl. Once coated, add in the corn flour and mix again until fully coated.

  2. Place chicken ribs onto baking tray, spreading out evenly. Add a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt. Bake in the oven for 30 mins.

  3. meanwhile, mix your marinade ingredients together, including the Bippi Mild Chilli Oil, tamari, sesame oil, honey, maple syrup and Bippi Sriracha Sauce. Stir well until fully combined. 

  4. Chop the coriander finely and mince the garlic cloves.  

  5. Add olive oil, garlic, 1 teaspoon Bippi Chilli Oil and a handful of chopped coriander to your frying pan. Sauté for a couple of minutes before pouring in your marinade. Let that heat up to a gentle simmer, then add in your baked chicken ribs. Cook the ribs for a few minutes in the pan, making sure they’re fully coated in the marinade.

  6. Then serve on a plate, sprinkle over the sesame seeds and chopped coriander. Dig in and enjoy!
